Gstaad Iglu 11

The inspiration for the room is from James Turrell, an American artist, and his light installations. His medium is pure light. He states: “My work has no object, no image and no focus. With no object, no image and no focus, what are you looking at? You are looking at you looking. What is important to me is to create an experience of wordless thought.” The intense blue colour encircles the viewer and after spending time here, eyes adapt to the dominant colour and cause distortion when stepping out from the room.
